Environmental Infrastructure: Strengthening Waste Management Facilities

The Action has as a main objective of the Regional Development and to the financing of investment projects for the business use of liquid and solid waste in the waste after treatment can be returned to the production cycle and be reused as raw materials, materials, or substances with a view to serve again either the original use or other uses.

Existing and New very small, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) as follows:

• Existing business that adhere to απλογραφικά books (B) or διπλογραφικά books (class C), which until 31/12/2019 have two or more booked a full accounting periods
• New business that adhere to απλογραφικά books (B) or διπλογραφικά books (class C), which do not fall under the above category and have been established before the date of publication of this Action.

Projects & Subsidy

Investment plans from € 400,000 to 3,000,000 euros.

The subsidy rate by business size, by category, regions and per category of eligible costs of investment projects is shaped by 20% to 55%.

• 40 million. euro

  The 65% the budget is allocated to Existing and 35% in New business.

  The Action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by national funds.

• Buildings, facilities, and surrounding area, up to 25% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• Machinery – Equipment, up to 100% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• Means of transport, up to 30% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• System certification and cost of carrying out laboratory tests, up to 5% of the subsidised budget of the project and up to the amount of 7,000 euros per management system.
• Acquisition, validation & patent protection, up to 5% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• Participation in trade fairs, up to 15% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• Specialized software and software services, up to 10% of the subsidised budget of the project.
• Technical/advisory support, up to 10% of the subsidised budget of the project.

As the starting date for eligibility of expenditure is defined as the date of electronic submission of the application for funding.
